Khelo India Youth Games 2021 was scheduled to occur in November-December in 2021. At first, due to the outbreak of Covid-19, the tournament had to postpone to February 2022. Unfortunately, the marquee tournament is postponing once again due to the rapid increase of Covid-19 cases and omicron in the host state Haryana and entire India.

Khelo India Youth Games 2021 is the fourth edition of the youth championship. About 10,000 athletes in the U-18 age group are meant to turn up for the tournament. This tournament includes 25 sports including 5 indigenous games. The last time this tournament took place was in January 2020 at Guwahati, Assam. The organizers will announce the new dates for the tournament after taking evaluating the situation of the place at that moment.
