Indian badminton player PV Sindhu cruises into the third round of the BWF World Championships after defeating Martina Repiska from Slovakia. She beat Martina in the women's singles in straight games. The BWF World Championships 2021 is taking place in Huelva, Spain.

The two-time Olympic medallist dominated the player in the second round and won the game (21-7, 21-9) in just 24 minutes. Sindhu will play against Thailand's world No. 10 Pornpawee Chochuwong next in the BWF World Championships. Sindhu was tremendous during the match and she never let her opponent move ahead of her at the Palacio de Los Deportes Carolina Marín.

2021 has been quite a memorable year for PV Sindhu. She bagged her second Olympics medal and also ended her journey in the BWF World Tour Finals in the second position. A lot of hopes and responsibilities are on the shoulder of the ace shuttler. People are hoping more due to the absence of the Spanish player Carolina Marin.
