The semi-final match of the World Championship of Legends (WCL) 2025 has been announced. India has secured a place in the semi-finals by registering a spectacular victory but now they will have to face Pakistan in the semis. There is tension between the two countries. They did not play a match in the league stage but now fate has brought them face to face again.

The IND vs PAK WCL 2025 semi-final will take place on Thursday, 31st July 2025, at 5 PM IST, at Edgbaston, Birmingham, England.

India made it to the semi-finals by winning the last match

WCL 2025 was not special for the veterans of Team India. India's first match was cancelled, while they lost three matches in a row. The last match of Yuvraj Singh's team was against West Indies. India needed 145 runs to win and needed to win the match in 14 overs to make it to the semi-finals. This would have allowed them to overtake England on net run rate.

Yusuf Pathan and Stuart Binny performed brilliantly for India. The team chased the target against West Indies in just 13.2 overs. India got its first win of the tournament and secured a direct place in the semi-finals.

Pakistan leads the points table

Pakistan Champions have been one of the strongest teams throughout the tournament, winning four out of five matches and leading the points table. Their strong form boosts their confidence as they enter the semi-final.

Notably, the league stage match between India Champions and Pakistan Champions was cancelled due to political tensions and player withdrawals, making this semi-final encounter even more significant.
