Trent Boult was all in praise for his fellow Rajasthan Royals teammate Kuldeep Sen after the latter defended 15 runs in the final over in the last night's thriller against Lucknow Super Giants. With a perfect team performance, the Royals won their 3rd match of the ongoing IPL 2022 and are also leading the table.

Trent Boult started for RR in the greatest way possible by dismissing KL Rahul and Krishnappa Gowtham for golden ducks in the first over itself. Sanju Samson gave the responsibility of the final over to the young Kuldeep Sen. Kuldeep ended the match against LSG with figures of 35/1 after he gave 15 runs in that over.
In the post-match presentation, Boult said, "My role with the new ball is to take as many wickets as possible. It's a pretty simple game for me at the top and get it to swing. The humidity and the overheads assisted it."

Talking about Kuldeep Sen, Trent said, "Limited English from Kuldeep, he runs in hard though. He executed it well in the end and he is only going to get better. Some quality fast bowling on our side and in the tournament going around. I'll probably watch my batting before my bowling."
With Shimron Hetmyer's unbeaten knock of 59, Boult's fiery 2 wickets, and Yuzvendra Chahal's 4 wickets, Rajasthan Royals won the match by 3 runs.
