Shabaash Mithu Trailer Out: Fans excited to see Indian legend's life on big screen

The much awaited biographical Sports Drama film, 'Shabaash Mithu' trailer is out now. Netizens are very excited after watching the trailer. The film is based on the life of Mithali Raj, the former captain of India Women's National Cricket Team. A Tamil Girl who once lead the National team very bravely.

Indian actress Taapsee Pannu who is known for her power-packed performances and choice of films that challenge norms, will play the role of Mithali Raj. Earlier she shared her preparation about the film, and posted the teaser and some poster of the film on her Instagram profile . Now the trailer is out on the internet, and she is so much excited about the film. She shared Shabaash Mithu trailer and wrote , "Mithali Raj, You know the name, now get ready to see the story behind what makes her the legend. Mithali Raj, the former ODI and Test Captain of Indian Women's Cricket team known for her record breaking 23-year long career in International Crickert, made over 10,000 runs in ODI. The right handed batter is the highest run scorer in Women's International Cricket. She is considered to be on of the greatest female cricketers ever. On 8 June 2022, she took retirement from all formats of International Cricket. She was awarded Arjuna Award (2003), Padma Shri (2015) and Major Dhyan Chand Khel Ratna Award (2021) .

Srijit Mukherji is directing Shabaash Mithu and is all set to hit theatres on 15th July. The film is produced by Viacom18 Studios. The trailer hints the message of 'Nazariya badlo, khel badalgaya' . As Mithali Raj, Taapsee Pannu is phenomenal and giving her hundred percent by copying Mithali's every cricketing shots and her every body movements. She is very hardworking and she knows how to pick some good scripts.
