On match day 5, five teams will fight for three places in the quarter-finals of the FIFA U-17 Women's World Cup 2022.

Although for India their chance to qualify for the next round of the FIFA U-17 Women's World Cup. few teams will be fighting for a spot in the top eight. Brazil, USA and Morocco will fight for two spots in Group A. Meanwhile, Nigeria and Chile will go against each other to cement a place in the Quarter-final of the world cup. Four matches will take place on the Match Day 5 of the U17 Women's World Cup. Nigeria vs Chile and India vs Brazil match will take place at the Kalinga Stadium, Bhubaneshwar. Meanwhile, New Zealand vs Germany and USA vs Morocco matches will take place in Pandit Jawaharlal Nehru Stadium in Goa.

The team that has already qualified | Germany

Germany with 6 points in Group B has already cemented their place in the Quarter-finals of the FIFA U-17 Women's World Cup. They will face New Zealand in their last match of the group stage. Even with a draw or unlikely draw against the blackcaps, Germany will head to Navi Mumbai as the Group leader from Group B.

Teams that are already out of the QF race in FIFA U-17 Women's World Cup

Both India and New Zealand are out of the quarter-final race and will play their last matches for pride. India, the host country was demolished by the mighty USA followed by a tough loss against Morocco shattered their dreams. Meanwhile, New Zealand lost by 3-1 against Chile and then got defeated by Nigeria by 4-1 in the second match. Hence, with no points on board, they are out of the tournament as well.

  2. If they draw against India, they will need USA to beat Morocco to be the second topper from the Group.
  3. If Brazil loses, and Morocco wins, they will have to have a better goal difference than USA. If they lose and USA wins, they will qualify as the second team from Group A.

  1. They must win to stay alive in the race. If Morocco wins, they will qualify for the quarters.
  2. If they draw against USA, they will need India to beat Brazil to qualify for the quarters.
