How can Manchester City qualify for knockouts:
Manchester City is currently in the 25th position on the table, they are currently outside of the top 24 teams that advance to the next phase. However, their qualification is simple, the English side has to win their last game against Club Brugge, as they jump their opponents in the standings.
Currently, City has 8 points with a goal difference of +2, while Brugge holds 11 points and a -2 goal difference. A win would push City into at least the 24th position guaranteeing a playoff spot. Including, depending on the outcomes of other matches- such as Paris Saint Germain vs Stuttgart, Juventus vs Benfica, Sporting CP vs Bologna, and PSV vs Liverpool, for improving their position on the group stage.

If Manchester City fails to win against Club Brugge, the situation becomes critical for Pep Guardiola's side. A draw or a loss cannot save City from the direct elimination of the group stage. Teams like Stuttgart, Paris Saint Germain, Benfica, and Sporting CP, all with 10 points, are close behind to push into the top 24 spot.
Manchester City has no chance of direct qualification in the round of 16 of the UEFA Champions League. However, the Premier League heavyweight's destiny in the Champions League is clear, a win against Club Brugge and they will qualify for the playoffs. The outcome of other games would not alter their fate.
