Novak Djokovic proved that "Revenge is best served cold" at the Paris Masters 2021.

Novak Djokovic clinched Paris Masters 2021, which is actually his 6th time, and also a record 37th Masters 1000 title. He beat Daniil Medvedev 4-6 6-3 6-3 in Sunday's huge final.

Novak has always been a steadier player and a great defender. But he always finds it hard to compete against Medvedev as he lost 4 matches in the previous 9 matches against him. The last night's final was a neck-to-neck competition.

Both the finalists were playing exceptionally, but it was Djokovic who advanced in the third set, took the advantage of the situation, and had a 3-2 lead. A few casualties and errors of Medvedev helped the Serbian with the double break at 5-2. Though Novak failed to serve it out at the first attempt as the Russian got one of the breaks back.

Once again, Djokovic broke again in the next game and surpassed Rafael Nadal to win the most Masters 1000 titles ever won. Djokovic defeated Medvedev and clinched the title.
