Carlos Alcaraz defeated Casper Ruud to win the US Open 2022. The Spanish teenahe sensation ended the match in a four-set thriller. With the win, Carlos is now the youngest Grand Slam winner in Tennis history. Besides that, he is also the first teenager to be ranked No.1 in the world.

Alcaraz won the first set by 4-6. Casper then made a huge comeback in the second set to make it even. However, the 19-year old was ready for everything thrown at him by Ruud. The third set went to the wire as Alcaraz took the set to tie-breaker. Not only he took the game to the tie-breaker, he won it handsomely by 7-1.
