PV Sindhu ends her journey of Denmark Open after losing to An Se Young in the women's singles quarter-finals. India's double Olympic medalist PV Sindhu came to action after a break after the Tokyo Olympics. Unfortunately, she bowed out of the Denmark Open tournament and lost against An Se Young 11-21, 12-21 in 36 minutes.

This was the second time when PV Sindhu lost to An Se Young in straight games. The last time they faced each other was 2 years before. PV Sindhu failed to match her young rival and could not attack back to her during the tournament.
