India will face Lebanon in the Semi-Final of the ongoing SAFF Championship 2023 on July 1st at the Sree Kanteerava Stadium. India coach Igor Stimac will be no there on the sidelines as he received a red card during the match against Kuwait. This can be the turning point of India's journey but the worst thing is Jhingan and Ali are also out because of the suspension. Rahim Ali also saw a red card for a collision with Al Qallaf while Jhingan's yellow card quota is full. India will have to face Lebanon whom they defeated in the final of the Intercontinental Cup, without Stimac, Rahim Ali, and Jhingan.

"Yes, there can be an issue for them (without Igor Stimac). But, I think the assistant coach will manage everything. Although, they might miss him on the touchline because he will not be able to give direct instructions," the Lebanon coach said in the press conference ahead of the SAFF Championship Semi-Final.

"I believe the Indian team have players for every position. But, without the defenders (Jhingan and Rahim Ali) it will be tough for them. Although I don't think they will be weaker side without them. We would like to score first against India," he added.
