Former Ismaily player and El-Magd SC head coach, Adham El-Selhedar, died while celebrating his team's goal in an Egyptian Second Division clash. He collapses when his team scored the first goal of the match in the 92nd minute.

After a brief spell with Al-Sharkia, he became a coach. Meanwhile, he took charge of Libya's Al-Ittihad and was even part of the Ismaily coaching staff. El-Selhedar was previously the caretaker manager of the Egyptian top-flight side. The same club he represented as a player and won several titles. He won the Egyptian Premier League and Egypt Cup crown.

El Magd climbed up to seventh in the second division table with 14 points after nine games.
