Spurs striker Harry Kane was left out of the squad that travelled to Portugal on Wednesday for a Europa Conference League play-off.

Spurs dropped their main man Harry Kane for Portugal trip on Wednesday. Although Spurs named Kane in the initial 25 man squad to face Pacos de Ferreira, he did not make the cut to the final team on the journey. However, speculation still continues over the England captain's future for his ultimate destination.

It is not a secret that Manchester City is keen on signing the Tottenham ace right from the start of the transfer window. According to some reports they were ready to offer as high as 100 million pounds for the striker in June. However, things now might get a bit delayed after City signed Grealish for a mind-boggling transfer fee.

On the other hand, The Daily Telegraph reported on Wednesday that, Harry Kane was angry with Club Chairman Daniel Levy. The reason might have been the failure to honour a promise that he could leave if the Lilly Whites failed to win a trophy or finished outside the Top 4 last season.

Spurs are playing their first match of the Europa Conference League on Friday against Pacos Ferreira. And they will be without their goalscoring ace. However, it might not be a challenging fixture for Coys but later, they will surely need Kane if they proceed far in the tournament.
