Head coach Igor Stimac in the press conference ahead of the India vs Kuwait game stated that the team is ready for a fight against Kuwiat on Thursday in Kolkata.

Indian men's football team head coach Igor Stimac stated the reason why he wanted Kolkata to be the venue for the India vs Kuwait FIFA World Cup 2026 Qualifiers. This is a must-win game for the Indian Football Team if they want to qualify for the third round of the qualification for the first time in their history. Alongside being a must-win game for India, this would be Sunil Chhetri's last international game with the Blue Tigers as well. 

But, the Indian camp want to keep aside everything and focus on the job they have on their hand. Head coach Igor Stimac in the press conference ahead of the game stated that the team is ready for a fight against Kuwiat on Thursday in Kolkata.
