Germany:

Germany are playing in their 14th Euro tournament and have won the competition on three occasions - the joint-highest in the history of the competition alongside Spain.

Leon Goretzka, Serge Gnabry, and Timo Werner will all miss the Euros. Germany boss Nagelsmann has lost 20-year-old Bayern Munich midfielder Aleksandar Pavlovic, who is also injured. Borussia Dortmund's Emre Can will replace him. But, Nagelsmann will most likely start Robert Andrich and Toni Kroos in the centre.

Joshua Kimmich is likely to be at right-back. Maximilian Mittelstadt will play as the left-back. Antonio Rudiger is likely to partner Bayer Leverkusen's Jonathan Tah but Nico Schlotterbeck is also there in the squad. It is going to be an interesting pick.

Ilkay Gundogan will play as a no 10 position but Nagelsmann has Jamal Musiala too. Florian Wirtz and Leroy Sane will play as the wingers while Kai Hevertz will play as a striker. Expectations and pressure are relatively high on Nagelsmann as Germany hasn't been good in the last two World Cups and Euros.

It will be interesting to see who will be the shot-stopper as Ter Stegen and Manuel Neuer are both in the squad. Both are in brilliant forms but it's up to Nagelsmann now.

Scotland:

Scotland were hit by some devastating injuries earlier this month. Lyndon Dykes is forced to withdraw from the squad with an ankle injury sustained in training. He was a key player for the team and they are going to miss him dearly.

Liverpool winger Ben Doak also pulled out due to an injury. Rangers' John Souttar and veteran goalkeeper Craig Gordon were dropped when manager Steve Clarke decided to cut down the squad to 26.

Andrew Robertson will lead the team while Scott McTominay and Stuart Armstrong will be there to help the team. McTominay has been excellent for Scotland in recent times. He is also coming after winning the FA Cup with a struggling United side so he is high on confidence. Ryan Jack missed the training but he is completely fit.

McGinn is going to play a pivotal role in this setup and he had a great Premier League season with Aston Villa. Gilmour also had a terrific season in Brighton which forced Steve Clarke to pick him in the squad for the Euros.
