2008- Sohail Tanvir

The Purple Cup winner of the inaugural edition of IPL is Sohail Tanvir. His performance in IPL 2008 is considered as one of the best performances as a bowler of IPL. In that series, he played in 11 matches and took 22 wickets, and eventually won the Purple cap. His 22 wickets also included 6/14 against Chennai Super Kings. 2009- RP Singh

2010- Pragyan Ojha
