Arjun Tendulkar named in Mumbai's Ranji Trophy squad, Prithvi Shaw to lead

Arjun Tendulkar is set to play his debut match for Mumbai's senior Ranji Trophy 2022. He got his maiden call for the tournament on Wednesday.

Arjun Tendulkar is all set to play his debut match for Mumbai's senior Ranji Trophy 2022. He got his maiden call for the tournament on Wednesday. Also, Prithvi Shaw will be leading the 20-members Mumbai team and this will be his first time leading the team in first-class cricket.

Mumbai Cricket Association (MCA) said, "The Senior Selection Committee of Mumbai Cricket Association consisting of Mr. Salil Ankola (Chairman), Mr. Gulam Parkar, Mr. Sunil More, Mr. Prasad Desai, and Mr. Anand Yalvigi has selected the following players to represent Mumbai in Ranji Trophy match against Maharashtra from 13th- 16th January 2022 and against Delhi from 20th-23rd January 2022 at Kolkata."

Arjun Tendulkar shared to the Times Of India, "It is an honour to be selected to represent Mumbai in the prestigious Ranji Trophy. It is a dream come true for me. I am eagerly looking forward to giving my best for the team."
