Usman Khawaja to replace in the fourth test of Ashes 2021-22?
With already winning the Ashes series, Australia want to whitewash the British team on their home turf. Usman Khawaja might be the man to replace Head in the playing eleven. However, it would be interesting to see how the team management plays out the playing eleven in the Sydney test of Ashes 2021-22.
As per the reports, each of the Australian players in the squad has gone through the PCR test. In addition to that, everyone will be in the Sydney test except Travis Head.
Unfortunately, Travis returned a positive Covid-19 result earlier today. Thankfully, he is asymptomatic at this stage. We anticipate that he will be available to play in the fifth Vodafone men's Ashes Test in Hobart. We are grateful to our exceptional medical staff for all the work they have done throughout this series and we will continue to work with and support the players, their families and staff from both teams."

Silverwood to miss the Sydney test as well
Meanwhile, England is supposed to fly separately. However, they will be without their head coach Silverwood. One of Silverwood's family has been confirmed as Covid Positive. Hence, he has been asked to complete his quarantine period. This makes the full covid positive list of English players to seven.
Meantime, ICC match referee David Boon will also miss the Sydney Test. He was found positive to Covid-19. He has been replaced by Steve Bernard, who is based in New South Wales.
