After the previous event in 2017, the tournament is set to be held again in Pakistan in 2025. England became the latest team to qualify for the Champions League 2025, scheduled to be held in Pakistan, after a 93-run win over Pakistan at the Eden Gardens in Kolkata. Sri Lanka are out of the Champions Trophy 2025 too as ICC has suspended Sri Lankan cricket board and additionally they have failed to perform in the ongoing World Cup. They finished on the 9th spot with only 2 victories out of their nine group games.
