Hardik Pandya hailed Mohammed Shami for his magnificent bowling effort against Delhi Capitals on yesterday's match.

Hardik Pandya felt sorry for his bowlers as they restricted the opponent to 130/8 runs and still Gujarat Titans failed to chase the game. Though GT lost the game, Hardik Pandya hailed Mohammed Shami's efforts with the ball. He also said that he feels sorry for Shami & blamed the batters after the loss. Shami has picked up four wickets in his four overs and was awarded the man of the match.

"I feel sorry for him, if you bowl like that, and restrict a team to 129 and still not win, the batters disappointed. I don't think the wicket did a lot but full credit to him," Hardik said at the post-match presentation.

Delhi Capitals stayed at the bottom of the points table despite their win in the match. With three victories in nine matches, they have kept themselves in the tournament. Despite the loss, Gujarat Titans, who have six wins in nine matches, remain atop the points table.

Shami's magnificent bowling effort has restricted Delhi Capitals for just 130 runs on the board. For Delhi Capitals, Aman Hakim Khan scored a fighting half century alongside Axar Patel and Ripal Patel also scored a few runs. The win from DC has made the tournament more exciting.
