Arundhati Reddy was handed her ODI debut cap in the second WODI between India and South Africa at M. Chinnaswamy Stadium in Kolkata on Wednesday. Puja Vastrakar had suffered an injury in the last match and is nursing a niggle. That is why the team management decided to have Arundhati Reddy in the team.
Arundhati who has already played in 26 T20Is and took 18 wickets, had a great Women's Premier League 2024 with Delhi Capitals.
India are already leading the series by 1-0 after Smriti Mandhana's stunning ton in the first match of the series. They will be playing five ODIs in the series followed by T20Is and a lone test.
