In Ranji Trophy 2022-23 group stage matches are over. There were eight teams in four groups, out of which the top 2 teams of each group have got a place in the quarterfinals. While defending champions Madhya Pradesh, Bengal, Saurashtra, and Karnataka made it to the last-8 by topping their respective groups. At the same time, Uttarakhand, Jharkhand, Andhra Pradesh, and Punjab finished second in their respective groups. Now there will be a clash between these eight teams to become the Ranji champion.

Moreover, the quarterfinal matches of the Ranji Trophy 2022-23 will start at 9 am on January 31. All four quarterfinals will start simultaneously. The winning teams will compete in the semi-final matches starting on 8 February. The final match will start on 16 February.

Each team had 7-7 matches in the group stage. However, big teams like Delhi, Mumbai, Maharashtra, Vidarbha, Kerala, and Baroda could not reach the quarterfinals. The teams of Maharashtra and Mumbai narrowly missed making it to the last-eight stage. The Kerala team also could not make it to the quarterfinals by a margin of just 2 points.

Quarter-final 1:

Group-A topper Bengal will face Group-C second team Jharkhand at Eden Gardens, Kolkata

Quarter-final 2:

Saurashtra, who finished first in Group-B, will face second-ranked Punjab in Group-D at Saurashtra Cricket Association Stadium, Rajkot

Quarter-final 3:

Number-1-ranked Karnataka in Group-C will clash with the second-ranked Uttarakhand team in Group-A at M.Chinnaswamy Stadium, Bangalore

Quarter-final 4:

Group-D topper and previous Ranji Trophy champions Madhya Pradesh will face Andhra, the second-placed team in Group-B at Holkar Stadium, Indore
