Unknown entities and T20 leagues have always gone hand in hand. Since the beginning of the concept, it has given a platform to every deserving player to showcase their talent. Just like the Indian Premier League (IPL), the state leagues have now also started giving us stars like Ashwani Kumar, Priyansh Arya, Aniket Verma, and Vipraj Nigam.

With the third season of the Bengal T20 League 2026 coming up, there are chances that we might get a future star from the state as well. With that, we now have the chance to present you with seven uncapped players who can make their name this season.

Before we start the list, let me make it clear to you that we have created this list from all the players who have yet to play any senior cricket for Bengal and were bought during the Bengal T20 League 2026 auction.

Shashank Singh | All-rounder, Bengal U23 captain

Bengal's Shashank Singh accidentally became famous all over India during the IPL 2022 auction, when Punjab Kings got confused while buying Mumbai's Shashank Singh.

Since then, the young all-rounder has done well for the Bengal U-23 team. He also went on to become the captain of the side as well, under the guidance of Wriddhiman Saha.

The middle-order batter and offspinner has been in excellent form for Kalighat in Kolkata Club Cricket as well. His ability to play the spin and attack can make him one of the players to watch out for in the competition.

He has been picked by his former team, Adamas Howrah Warriors, for ₹ 3.50 lakhs.

Subham Sarkar | All-rounder

Although you might not be able to call him a youngster anymore, Subham Sarkar has turned his experience into performance in the last few seasons.

The 30-year-old right-handed pacer, who bats left-handed, was named in the Bengal squad for the latter stages of the 2025/26 first-class season. However, he had to return without playing any game.

Subham had done pretty well with the Harbour Diamonds last season. He can give you for over up front and can tonk the ball in the middle order as well.

Sourav Halder | All-rounder

If any player has impressed one and all in the Kolkata Club Cricket in the last few seasons, it will surely be Sourav Halder.

Sourav is a right-handed offspinner who can add value with the bat as well. Last season, he did very well for East Bengal and even helped them win the derby against Mohun Bagan.

He is very disciplined with his line and length and can give the team the control needed post-power play. However, his resilience and ability to bail out teams from difficult situations make him one of the players to watch out for.

Ram Sen | Batter, U-16

Nowadays, when we talk about U-16 players, I know we start to compare their ability with someone like Vaibhav Suryavanshi.

Although Ram might not be close to the range -hitting Vaibhav possesses, he is good in his own standard. In 2023, he came into the scene after scoring a triple century in a U13 game, and since then, he has progressed well.

Despite his age, he is very brave, and his cut and pull shots might make one doubt his date of birth, too. Ram is also a capable wicket-keeper batter.

With the teams needing to play at least a U19 player in the playing XI, Ram will surely get a chance to showcase his skills. Ram will feature for Novas Purulia Royals in the competition.

Rohit Kumar Das | Left-arm pacer

Tall, lanky, and can swing the ball both ways - these are a few of the attributes which build a solid left-arm pacer, and Rohit Kumar Das has all of those features in him.

After doing well in the second division, Rohit was selected for the Bengal U19 squad. From there on, he went to impress one and all with his wicket-taking ability and was selected for the BCCI U-19 tri-series before the U19 World Cup 2026.

Although Rohit missed out on the selection for the U19 World Cup, his performance has earned him a spot in the upcoming Bengal T20 League 2026. He will play for Murshidabad Kings.

Another Bengal player who missed selection for the U-19 World Cup 2026 was Yudhajit Guha.

The right-arm from Bengal featured in the India U-19 team during their tour to England right before the World Cup. Guha also featured in the U19 Asia Cup 2025 before that.

Guha has already played in the Bengal T20 League before this season, and his skill to hit the hard length is what makes him a prospect for Bengal and India in future. And not to forget, two years ago, I had listed him among the seven U19 Bengal players who can play for India in future.

Nuruddin Mondal | Right-arm pacer

When we are talking about prospects, we must mention someone who, former India player Wriddhiman Saha believes, can play for India in the future.

Nuruddin Mandal has got the pace, the yorker and the ability to fit the helmet when needed.

Last season, with 16 wickets, he had finished as the second-best wicket-taker of the competition. However, then he was an unknown entity. This season, with the limelight already on him, it will be interesting to see if he can continue his previous year's form to make it to the bigger stage.
