Renuka will likely be one of India's most dependable bowlers in years to come. She won white ball cricket for the country in 2022 by taking 40 wickets in just 29 matches in both formats. Due to this, the Indian women's team did not miss the great fast bowler Jhulan Goswami. With the ability to swing the ball, Renuka has taken 18 wickets in ODIs at an average of 14.88. Eight of which came in two matches against England and seven of them came in India's series versus Sri Lanka. Her best performance came against Australia in the Commonwealth Games. In this match, she took 4/18 in the first match and 34/4 in the second match with 16 dot balls.

Moreover, she proved to be a dangerous bowler in the Australian line-up throughout the year, taking 8 wickets in 7 T20 matches, and her performances in the Commonwealth Games and the Women's Asia Cup show that she makes the most of the tournament.
