Sunil Chettri has been a stalwart in the Indian football system for over the last decade. Another feather got attached to his thrown yesterday while playing for Bengaluru FC. He made his 100th appearance in the Indian Super League. This happened when he played against FC Goa in a double-header yesterday in ISL 2021-22. Along with him, it was Arminder Singh who achieved the same feat as ATK Mohunbagan faced Chennaiyin FC.

Sunil was the seventh player to achieve the feat. Meanwhile, Arminder was sixth on the list. Moreover, Sunil was the first striker to reach the milestone. In addition, Arminder was the first goal-keeper to have the 100 match milestone in ISL 2021-22.

However, the 100th match for Sunil was not as per his expectation. Bengaluru FC went down 2-1 against FC Goa in a thrilling match. Both the team saw one man go down via red cards. Meanwhile, Arminder Singh managed to have a 1-1 draw against Chennaiyin FC.

Till now in ISL 2021-22, Arminder Singh has managed to pull 8 saved in the five matches ATK Mohunbagan played. Meanwhile, the Indian captain has found a tough time in ISL 2021-22. Sunil has not been successful in finding the back of the net or providing any assist yet in this season.

Overall Sunil Chhetri now has 47 goals and 9 assists in the Indian Super League which makes him one of the league. He ranks second in the list of most goals in ISL history. Meanwhile, Arminder Singh ranks top on the list of most saves made in the Indian Super League. Till now has made a stunning 284 saves in the tournament.
