Manchester United are already on their first target as they have agreed personal terms with Chelsea midfielder Mason Mount.

The Telegraph confirmed Manchester United will going to make a deal for Mason Mount. They have agreed personal terms with the Chelsea midfielder on Wednesday. Mount and Tottenham striker Harry Kane are the prime target of Erik Ten Hag ahead of the new Premier League season. Manchester United finished 3rd in the Premier League 2022-23 season. Ten Hag has helped the team by improving the players from at least every aspect in his first season. Mason Mount is interested in the Red Devils' project and his demanding wages which he is not getting at Chelsea right now.

"Mount is also wanted by Liverpool and Arsenal and it would be a serious blow for Jurgen Klopp, in particular if he joins United. The Liverpool manager has targeted Mount and Brighton's Alexis Mac Allister as he rebuilds his midfield. On the other side, Arsenal are pushing for Mount's best friend, West Ham United captain Declan Rice, who is also wanted by Bayern Munich coach Thomas Tuchel."

"A transfer fee is yet to be agreed by United for Mount. Telegraph Sport revealed on Tuesday that United manager Erik ten Hag is confident. He can persuade the 24-year-old to join and is pushing the club's hierarchy to get the deal over the line."

"Ten Hag regards Mount as one of two key signings in the forthcoming window. He will play him as a No 8. The other signing he desperately wants is a striker and his dream transfer still remains Tottenham Hotspur's Harry Kane."
