Manchester United has had a slow start this season, struggling to win games and control play. Brentford, meanwhile, has improved their attacking and quick build-up tactics. But both teams have trouble holding onto leads, which has cost them points early in the season.

Mazraoui was subbed off at half-time in the goalless draw against Aston Villa and later withdrew from the Morocco squad. His availability against Brentford is uncertain, with Ten Hag set to provide an update in his press conference today. If Mazraoui is unfit, Jonny Evans or Victor Lindelof may step in.

Harry Maguire is sidelined for a few weeks due to a muscle injury sustained at Villa Park, joining Leny Yoro on the injury list. In midfield, Manuel Ugarte is a new concern after being forced off in Uruguay's 0-0 draw with Ecuador, 

Mason Mount has missed the last two games with a head injury and a knock from the 3-0 defeat to Tottenham in September. United will hope that Amad, Alejandro Garnacho, and Kobbie Mainoo will be available after missing recent international matches.

Midfielders Christian Nørgaard and Mikkel Damsgaard are available for the match against United following their previous injury, but Mathias Jensen and Igor Thiago won’t be ready in time for the weekend’s game

Wissa missed the last three Premier League games due to an ankle injury and was absent from DR Congo’s two Africa Cup of Nations qualification fixtures over the international break. He was pictured training on the grass but this match may come too soon for him.

Mathias Jensen was also pictured training with the team, but it will be too early to risk playing him.
