Abhishek Verma and Jyothi Surekha Vennam duo reached to the Compound Mixed team final. They defeated Estonia’s Robin Jaatma and Lisell Jaatma 156-151 in the semi final on Friday. After that, The duo assured India their second medal at the Archery World Cup Stage 3.

Deepika Kumari and Co. have confirmed the first medal of the Archery World Cup Stage 3 after reaching into the final of recurve women’s team event.

The Compound Mixed team has to defeat fifth seed France in the compound mixed team final on Saturday.

World No.3 Jyothi, who was sidelined in the Asian Games trial, is also playing for an individual medal. She made a comeback After more than seven months.

Lisell Jaatma gave Jyothi a tough fight in the individual quarterfinals. But the Indian pair had put so much pressure on Lisell-Robin pair in the first round.
