India lost the opportunity after coming back into the game by 2-2. Sindhu and Prannoy's defeat by much lower-ranked opponents in the two singles ties costs the Indian team heavily. The men's doubles duo of Chirag Shetty-Dhruv Kapila and the women's doubles pair of Treesa Jolly-Gayatri Gopichand did well to keep the team in the tie. Jiang Zhen Bang and Wei Ya Xin were too good for the Indian mixed doubles pair of Ishaan Bhatnagar and Tanisha Crasto. India finished the campaign with a bronze medal in the Asia mixed team badminton Championship.
