Though this moment comes from the Indian Premier League (IPL), it certainly was one of the most awaited moments for legendary Indian batter Virat Kohli and the huge legion of RCB fans all over the world. An 18-year wait finally ended for the hugely popular Bengaluru franchise and Virat Kohli who had won everything else in international cricket and was desperate to add this one trophy to his glittering cabinet of awards and honours.

3. Indian Women’s Cricket Team winning the 2025 Women’s ODI World Cup

India had lost three straight matches in the league phase, prompting the fans to think this was going to be yet another dismal World Cup campaign.
