Sarfaraz was wearing a protective fiber cast on the finger and didn't bat or field during the day. He was helping his teammates with energy drinks. His teammate, Prithvi Shaw was at his best during the practice game as he played some beautiful shots all around the field in the presence of mentor Sourav Ganguly and assistant coach Praveen Amre.
