Bayer Leverkusen is currently in the second place at their domestic league table, and they have already knocked out Bayern from the DFB Pokal. However, some draws and a defeat, leaving them so far behind Bayern Munich in the Bundesliga.

Bayer Leverkusen are unbeaten in eight games but missed the chance to close the gap on Bayern domestically, so they will most probably now focus all of their attention on the UEFA Champions League and DFB Pokal.
