Manchester United vs Leeds United: Match Report
Leeds United almost secured the win at Old Trafford but Sancho and Rashford helped United to a brilliant comeback and secured the fixture with a draw. Leeds went on with the same high intense press and mentality at Elland Road. Casemiro's absence in the midfield looked quite clear as United was not stable. They were losing the ball so easily and as a result, David De Gea had to make some brilliant stops at the goal line. Leeds United dominated the game not with possession but they were becoming constant threats in the opposition box. United got some chances but Leeds' goalkeeper Meslier showed why he is the favorite goalkeeper of the season in the Premier League.
The second half was all Leeds till the 79th minute. Harrison, Gnonto, and Summerville destroyed the united's defensive pair but they couldn't finish their chances. Eric Ten Hag brought Wan-bissaka and Lisandro Martinez on the pitch and the game completely changed. Rashford with a brilliant header hits the net in the 80th minute. Garnacho scored United's second goal in the 85th minute and seized the win. United scored two more goals but that was ruled offside. Leeds United couldn't get the same momentum and United emerged as the winner in an important fixture.
